An Insight Into My Soul

Self pride. Admiration. Happiness. All follow when you find something you're truly good at. This blog is just another girl trying to find what she's good at. Hope retreats as she finds her best friend is better by far. A post in search of praise, as she seeks to lock her insecurities away but they do not want to be caged. They rage around bringing havoc and pain. An escape becomes just another thing that taunts her. This quest is not over but the hero is so tired. Heroes don't fail, I am no more than a weakling in search of the thing that makes life complete she says. Talent. Love. Acceptance. They dance away as she reaches out. She's so tired maybe its time to give up. A hero trait slips out. No. No giving up yet. Not yet. Keep going. Day after day. Through the boredom, through the lack of self pride, through the feeling of uselessness that wraps it arms around her. Not yet.

Mysteries Of The Future

I do not remember where but I read that everything we do is for the future. Everyday we work so we can make a life for ourselves. You work hard at school because you need to go to a good college. You work hard at college so you can achieve finical success. You need financial success to send your children through the same process. While there is nothing wrong with the process of life it seems more and more people send too much or too little time worrying about their future and not enough time enjoying their lives. You only get one life. The idea of YOLO or you only live once seems to be an excuse to do things that would normally been deemed stupid and reckless. Under all this the concept is not a bad one. It seems though that people do not fully understand that only living once also means that if you waste your life doing nothing and having fun one day you will look back and realise that you achieved nothing and you will be forced to depend on other people because the one lifetime you were given you wasted. The opposite of this is no better, being to busy to ever do what you love or have a little fun. Somehow we just have to find a medium of the two. A combination of hard work and fun to make our one life the best life it can possibly be.

Youtube Reviews: Tyler Oakley

No more than four videos in and three things were clear, 1) Tyler Oakley was gay, 2) He changes his hair colour a lot and 3) I wasn’t going to be putting my computer down for a while. Old or more recent, the videos I watched were hilarious; it’s not hard to see why people love Tyler Oakley.

Tyler Oakley joined YouTube in September 2007, since then he has gathered a huge group of people that can’t get enough of his videos. He is the stereotypical gay guy and it makes him all the more amazing. He doesn’t hide who he is and that to me is one of the best things anyone can ever do.  Add some enthusiasm and excitement and you have Tyler Oakley in a nutshell.

 

His videos are a huge variety; there are collaborations, #AskTyler videos, tags and so much more. In terms of collaborations I’m pretty sure he has collaborated with nearly every popular youtuber ever known. My personal favourite collabs would have to be the Troyler videos. I’m not one for shipping people together and I still haven’t yet decided if I ship Troyler but their collabs definitely made me laugh.  #AskTyler videos made up of random questions from people on twitter and Tyler doing his best to answer them on camera.  The title or name of the #AskTyler videos are often random and a little weird, some of them made me laugh with before I even watched the video.

Talking of laughing I honestly really enjoyed watching Tyler’s videos and yes I did subscribe. I want more Tyler Oakley! To anyone reading this once you have finished and before you do anything else go and watch at least one of Tyler Oakley’s videos. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
